Material handling, dunnage trays and pallets are a significant market for thermoformed products. Specialized and specific carrier trays and tray systems for components, electronic material handling trays as well as single and twin sheet pallets are used for protection, durability, cleanliness and cost attributes.
Material handling and dunnage products are produced on both shuttle and rotary cut sheet thermoforming equipment utilizing vacuum, pressure and twin sheet processes. The thermoforming equipment is sized in ranges from 3’ x 4’ to 14’ x 22’ for products from a multitude of materials such as polypropylene, HDPE, and HIPS and conductive HIPS.
Smaller, thinner gauge products can be produced using Brown Machine continuous thermoformers, trim presses, and tooling with configurations including production from roll stock or in-line extrusion and with either rule/forge die or match metal trim. |
