Trim Presses offer precise match metal product trimming from the formed web. Trim presses are capable of a variety of tasks from straight perimeter trimming, progressive trim applications for pre-punching and perimeter trim, counting and stacking. Trimming is completed in single or multiple rows and available in both Horizontal and Vertical Configurations with speeds up to 160 cycles per minute. These machines are generally sized and located after a Continuous Thermoforming Machine.
L-Model
Industry standard multi-purpose flywheel design trim press with precision linear guided moving platen and side load capabilities
LS-Model
Trim press features the moving platen motion controlled through a servo motor and drive. In addition to constant speed applications, the servo drive allows profiling the trim speed motion. Common applications are slowing down for a controlled long ejection into product handling systems, speed up to make up the loop, and then maintain cycle time with the thermoformer, and slow withdrawal and fast acceleration of the trim motion for high tonnage low speed processes. Taller moving platen provided to support trim tools. Expanded side window opening for side loading of die sets with pre-punch/perimeter trim capabilities.
LP / LDP-Model
Trim presses are designed with additional stroke length to pre-punch and trim deep draw containers in a progressive trim application. Increased stroke capability with precise linear guiding of platens eliminates the need for intermediate trim press to pre-punch. Taller moving platens provided to support trim tools. Expanded side window opening for side loading of die sets with pre-punch/perimeter trim capabilities.
V-Series-Model
Vertical Presses offer the ability to trim, accumulate and transfer pre-counted stacks of well nested products as they exit from the trim press. Based on a servo driven linear guided moving platen and coupled with servo feed, servo ejection , servo parts conveyors these presses present product directly to the packers or into packaging systems.
